This issue will contain the works nominated by our audiences at Poetry Express readings during prompt and maverick nights. Open mic readings on any topic will be included if there is time after the featured prompts or workshops. We hope you can make it to one of these evenings.
Prompt Nights: (use the prompt as the cliff for your imagination – jump off!)
Feb. 23: Apples, Oranges, and Pears
Mar 23: Ancestors
Apr 27: There is no right or wrong
May 25: If only I were ____

March 30: Workshop: Bring at least 15-20 copies of your work. Read your work and then people will provide helpful comments about it. Each poet will get 15 minutes (including the comment time), if there are more poets than time a drawing decide who reads. Negative remarks not allowed, comments to be constructive.
June 29: Other People’s Poems: bring your poem without your name on it, poems go in a hat and another poet reads it, we try to guess who wrote it.
